Golang Job: Backend Engineer Go (Golang) & BigQuery :: Phoenix

We re seeking a Backend Engineer with deep expertise in Go (Golang) and Google BigQuery to develop scalable services and efficient data pipelines. You ll collaborate closely with product managers, data analysts, and fellow engineers to support both real-time and batch data processing using Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend APIs and services using Go (Golang)

• Write, optimize, and maintain BigQuery queries and workflows

• Build robust and scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using Google Cloud Platform services

• Monitor, debug, and improve system performance and reliability

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions

• Implement and maintain best practices for testing, deployment, and monitoring

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with Go (Golang) in production environments

• Strong proficiency in BigQuery and SQL for large-scale data processing

• Solid understanding of Google Cloud Platform services, especially in data and compute

• Experience working with RESTful APIs, Git, and CI/CD workflows

• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
